Personal data – according to section 3 (1) BDSG (German Privacy Act) this is

Collection and processing of personal data

Personal data includes data such as your name, address, your account number, identification number, your telephone number or your email address. Moreover, we shall only collect, process or use your personal data if you have voluntarily disclosed this to us and if it is permitted in law, or if you have provided your consent. This usually happens when you enter into a business transaction with us or if you submit an enquiry to us. The data that you have entered when registering on our website will, of course, always be encrypted when it is transmitted.

Protection of children and minors

Children and young people with limited legal capacity may not submit personal data on our website without the permission of their parents or legal guardian. 42 GmbH will never knowingly collect personal data from children or young people with limited legal capacity, or use it in any way or disclose it to third parties without authorization.

Video surveillance

The sole purpose of video surveillance at our corporate locations is to collect evidence in the event of vandalism, burglary, assault or other crimes. When video cameras are present or in use, this is indicated by the relevant warning notices.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that are sent by a webserver to your browser and are stored on the hard drive of your computer. This means that none of the user’s personal data is stored apart from the Internet Protocol address. This information helps to automatically recognize you during your next visit to our website and makes navigation easier for you. When you visit our websites, our webservers automatically save general information in an anonymous form which is then used for the purpose of marketing and improvements. This website uses Google Analytics which is a web analysis service belonging to Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”.

The full IP address will only be passed on to a Google server in the USA and truncated there in exceptional cases. Use of Google Maps

Right to information

According to section 34 BDSG, you are fully entitled to receive information about the data we have stored as well as the right to have unacceptable data deleted or blocked and incorrect data corrected free of charge according to section 35 BDSG. If you submit a request, we shall respond in writing as quickly as possible and according to applicable law, stating whether and what kind of personal data we have stored. If we have stored incorrect information in spite of our efforts to store accurate and current data, we shall, of course, correct this upon your request.

Time limits for deleting data

Data is deleted after the retention periods prescribed by the law, the articles of association or contracts have expired. Data that is not subject to retention periods is deleted when it is no longer required for the specific purpose.

We reserve the right to change our data protection practices and to change this policy so that it conforms with possible changes in relevant laws and regulations or in order to be able to better meet your requirements.
